When I am in professional mode,
I run on different premises and
motivations.But,left to my own
devices, I will freewheel and
wander between a slew of
part-time obsessions.

Although few great
accomplishments have
ever been achieved ; i seek
support from those whose talents
exceed your own.An optimistic
person that seems enthusiastic
about life and living..a good
conversationalist.

ST reading Term 2 Week 3 :"HFMD cases near epidemic level"

Q1:
How does HFMD spread and what are some of the preventive measures that the childcare centres and kindergartens have taken to ensure that the disease is contain?

HMFD is spread through body fluids. It is passed through children who share toys that they might have put it inside their mouths. Many of the Childcare Centres and kindergartens are taking precautions to avoid spreading the virus by spending more money to thoroughly clean its premises every quarter.Usual health screening and cleaning measures are also taken in place.Children who are likely contracted with the disease with symptoms ( ulcers, spots and fever) are sent home and their parents are asked to send them home immediately.Last but not least, the children in childcare centres and kindergartens have been drilled into a routine of heading straight to the toilet to wash up and clean theri hands with a sanitiser before classes and meals.

Q2
In your opinion, what implications will the childcare centres face if the HFMD issue escalates further?

The childcare centres will have to face several implications if the HFMD issue escalates further. The centres will have to shut down for 10 days for them to sanitised and cleaned thoroughly before opening. They must ensure that the diesease is entirely wipe out before they could reopen.Parents might also make complains or press charges against the centre for the negligience over their child's hygiene and that their child have contracted the disease. They might even claim for the medical fees from them.Parents would than want their kids to stay at home or transfer them to another cihldcare centre. With this in mind, the centre will soon lose a lot of children resulting in lesser school fees being paid. The staff and teachers will also be affected and there might be a retrenchment if the centre suffered heavy losses. The centre reputation would also be spoilt. Hence if the HMFD issue really escalates further, not only does the children gets affected, but also the staff and families will affected too.
